Beaumont Terrace Co-op is a gated affordable senior housing community located in the beautiful city of Beaumont. It is east of Los Angeles, northeast of Orange County, and 30 miles west of Palm Springs, California.

The City of Beaumont is nestled in a valley surrounded by fruit orchards and mountains. Beaumont, which is French for "Beautiful Mountain" received its name in 1887 from Henry C. Beaumont is home to the annual Cherry Festival. There's a neighboring casino and the Cabazon outlet mall. Residents can enjoy country style living, antique shops and sidewalk cafes. These are all within walking distance of the building. There is a bus stop conveniently located near the co-op. Nearby are the Beaumont senior center, post office, police station, and shopping centers with grocery stores and restaurants.

Beaumont Terrace Co-op is a smoke-free building. Smoking is not allowed in apartments, any common areas, nor within 25 feet of the building. The apartments themselves surround a lush and beautifully manicured courtyard. Resident members enjoy raised vegetable gardens, fruit trees and a beautiful rose garden. The building has an enclosed dog run for residents' animals to enjoy. There is also a Service Coordinator onsite who assists residents with finding supportive services.

Every unit has subsidy and resident members pay only 30% of their income for rent. Resident members have a voice in the management of the building and are encouraged to participate. There are plenty of ways for members to get involved, from volunteering time around the building to holding a position in the office. In addition, the residents enjoy visiting with each other, playing cards, bingo, BBQ's and potlucks.
