Burns Manor Apartments is an affordable community for seniors aged 62 and older. It is located in the city of Sunland, 21 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. The community is nestled in the Crescenta Valley, close to groceries, shops, restaurants and churches. The team of professional staff includes a service coordinator who helps residents link to the amenities offered by the community at large, in addition to social engagements and outside agencies/ programs that promote independence.

The building has lovely amenities and there was a recent upgrade to some of the common area furniture. Amenities encourage seniors to live as independently and comfortably as possible in 81 spacious one-bedroom apartments. The building has safety and security features like a gated parking lot and FOB access to the entry. There are security cameras and an emergency pull cord system. Residents can soak up the sun in the outside garden and barbecue area, read a quiet book in the library or learn a new song in the piano room. They have bi-weekly exercise classes and Bingo offered in the spacious community room. A bus stop directly outside the community connects residents to trips into town. The residents have various activities that they participate in the main community room. All the amenities are included in the rent and do not cost the residents any additional fees for their use.
