CSI Housing Foundation
The CSI Housing Foundation was established using funds from the sale of a property in northern California. The purpose of the foundation is to create grants for co-ops, aiming to enhance services and programs for our resident members, such as education and health and wellness initiatives. We are currently exploring various service and program options and will be conducting additional focus group meetings to better understand our members' needs. Additionally, the Foundation will assist in the acquisition of affordable housing projects by offering favorable loan terms to co-ops in need. It will also provide opportunities for capital improvements, new construction, and other projects that align with CSI's overall mission.

Our Foundation’s Goal
- Provide our housing cooperatives with funding for educational opportunities, health and wellness programs, and other services for our members.
- Enhance financial opportunities for our cooperatives through loans (as allowable and as funding is available).
- Provide opportunities for capital improvements, new construction, acquisitions, and other projects that support the overall mission of CSI.
